An Air India flight from Hong Kong to New Delhi, operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, survived a potential crash.
This incident comes just days after another Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed in Ahmedabad, resulting in 241 fatalities.
According to reports, the plane returned to Hong Kong International Airport shortly after takeoff on Monday, June 16 2025, due to a suspected technical issue.
The pilot informed air traffic control that they didn't want to continue further and decided to return to Hong Kong as a precautionary measure.
However, authorities are currently investigating the exact nature of the technical issue to determine the cause and ensure the safety of future flights.
